Thanks to the success of its release, it's no surprise that Marvel's Spider-Man will have one remastered on PlayStation 5, released alongside the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Although the new version of the first chapter will enjoy all the advantages of the new hardware of PS5, Insomniac Games has specified that it will be treated as a title in its own right. totally detached from the PlayStation 4 version, including saves, which cannot be imported.
The developer then answered other questions from fans, which were put to him on Twitter. It has been reported that the Spider-Man nowill not be published in physical format but only digitally, both as a standalone and included in the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. Insomniac has also specified that the remastered on PlayStation 5 will enjoy, in addition to technical improvements, also new trophies, new costumes and new options for the Photo mode. The original title, of course, will not have a free upgrade for those who already have the copy on PlayStation 4, as, as previously mentioned, the two games will be treated separately.
