FIFA 22, put on the market a few days ago, already receives the first important update, which brings numerous changes. It is available from today, October 6, 2021, for PC and in the coming days for other gaming platforms. Let's see in detail the changes made by EA Sports:
These are the news regarding the FIFA 22 FUT mode:
- Updated the Division Rivals Progress Panel UI to improve readability and clarity. Players will start their celebration animation a little later when opening or previewing packs.
- Tifo can now be seen in the stadium while a match is paused.
- Cheering can now be seen during additional pre-match scenes in Squad Battles and Friendlies.
- When obtaining stadium items or packs from the FUT shop, a pop-up message now informs players if one or more items are for a stadium customization slot that must be unlocked via achievements.
- When previewing a Stadium Kit item or a Stadium Item Pack containing a kit, there is now a goalkeeper wearing the kit next to the outfield player.
Fixed the following issues:
- The FUT Champions playoffs post match screen was not always showing the points totals and leaderboard correctly, this was just a visual issue and the correct progression of the playoffs was and continues to be available in the playoffs progression screen.
- Fixed an issue with the FUT Hero Joe Cole Player Item and being unable to enter a match while the item was on the starting team.
- After qualifying for the FUT Champions Finals, the playoffs rewards screen was showing an incorrect number of finals qualifiers. This was a visual issue only. Qualifying for the Finals provides an entry to the competition and the correct information continues to be displayed when the prizes are previewed on the Playoff Progress screen.
- When listing an item on the FUT Transfer Market, if the starting price was lower than the Buy Now price, players would sometimes encounter an error that prevented the item from being issued on the Transfer Market.
- The Division Rivals main menu window was not showing the player's current position when the player redeemed prizes, this was just a visual issue.
- The augmented reality presentation overlay was not showing the correct score when appearing after a penalty kick scored in overtime.
- When viewing the opposing team while loading an offline friendly match, the Team Rating and Chemistry UI elements were not displayed correctly.
- Quick-sold kit items were sometimes not removed from the club and could be sold quickly again, but for 0 credits.
- After completing a Division Rivals match, the in-game friend list button recall could disappear until re-entering Rivals.
- Some sound effects were not playing properly during post-match scenes in Division Rivals and FUT Champions.
- Improved visibility of the Victory Counter displayed in the Division Rivals post-match flow.
- Improved visibility of the New Division text that appears in the post match flow when promoted to a new Division in Division Rivals.
- The Division Rivals post match screen could sometimes be slower than expected.
- After a lost game in Division Rivals, the progress bar could disappear during the post-game flow.
- Some descriptions of the Division Rivals reward status in the Rivals progress screen were incorrect. This was a visual problem and did not affect progression.
- When the competitive setting is activated, ball assistance cannot be set to manual if desired.
- Some kit badges and logos were not displaying correctly.
- There may be a stability issue when displaying crowd card items in the stadium menu.
