Astro's Playroom, the video game that exploits the potential of DualSense, could receive an expansion or a DLC on PlayStation 5. Japan Studio boss Nicolas Doucet explained that the studio has not yet decided what to develop, whether a new video game or a title related to Astro's Playroom, using the controller Sony.
Nicolas Doucet said: «We have no plans for an expansion of Astro's Playroom or a DLC, it depends on the popularity, so far the media have praised the title but we want to hear the opinion of the users. If the character has a popularity, an expansion or a sequel would be evaluated, as in Team Asobi we want to develop new ideas based on DualSense technology and there are many things we want to do by exploiting the potential of the Sony controller. In the team we make many new prototypes based on this new interesting technology, if one of these becomes a new idea for a video game, I think we will exploit it and continue with the realization. So I can't say if we want to make something related to Astro's Playroom or a new video game ».
