How to unlock the jeweler in Diablo Immortal

To unlock the jeweler In Diablo Immortal, you will have to play the main story until you reach the mission "Diamond in the Rough". In this mission, you will have to escort a jeweler named Vic to his shop.

Once this mission is successfully completed, you will unlock access to Vic and all other jewelers in Diablo Immortal.

Positions of jewelers in Diablo Immortal

There are two types of jewelers in Diablo Immortal. The first and foremost is the Jeweler Apprentice who will directly take care of your in-game jewelry needs. The other jewelers serve as gem sellers.

You can find the Jeweler's Apprentice at Rakkis Plaza in Westmarch. You can also find them in major cities or player hubs in each zone of the game.

Jeweler services in Diablo Immortal

In Diablo Immortal, the jeweler provides services to manage, lock in and upgrade the gems you purchase and collect as you progress. The jeweler is also required to craft legendary gems which are used to upgrade your main gear slots and increase your combat level.

Swap and upgrade gems

The first service in the menu allows you to replace normal and legendary gems with hoof. Keep in mind that removing a gem from a socket will not destroy it. In addition, there is no cost to replace the gems. You can then freely swap gems to check your combat ratings.

You can also have the jeweler upgrade a regular or legendary gem. If you are looking to upgrade a regular gem, you will need three gems of the same type.

Combining three normal grade 1 gems of the same type will give you rank 2 of the same gem. You can upgrade a regular gem to rank 6 this way, after which you will need Echo Crystals.

In the case of a Legendary Gem, however, you have to combine multiple Legendary Gems and Gem Power which can be earned by retrieving Legendary Gems that you don't need.

Each upgrade will increase in cost depending on the rank / power of the gem. The higher the rank, the more Legendary Gems and Gem Power you will need for the next level.

Create legendary gems

The jeweler can also be used to craft legendary gems. To create a legendary gem, you will need different amounts of platinum and runes depending on the gem in question.

Runes in Diablo Immortal are released as a reward for completing Elder Rifts. They can also be purchased using Fading Ember.
