We have already said this in the review phase and we repeat it even now: eFootball PES 2020 is the best football simulator currently on the market, with all due respect to his eternal rival, that FIFA 20 that pursues undaunted on the opposite path: that of fun and spectacle. Undeniably, however, the general media attention remains purely focused on the little boy of Electronic Arts, to the detriment of the title of Konami which, despite the peaks reached, continues to chase, for appeal and diffusion, the work of the US software house.
It is undeniable how much (and we say it) there are many guides around, just to give an example, or simply a list of the best players available on FIFA or perhaps on the best teams, which, with PES, happens only rarely. TOWe therefore decided to “run for cover”, starting a more concise and precise introduction to the world of Konami's sports title. The best way to do it? - 10 - Bernd Leno (Arsenal), 86
The Arsenal goalkeeper is certainly one of the most improved players in recent years. Starting with the attributes of a leader and absolute star, he then saw his performance drop, only to recover once and for all once he put on the Gunners jersey. Will this be the season of consecration?
- 9 - Thibaut Curtois (Real Madrid), 87
Curtois is probably no longer the super goalkeeper of previous years, but he remains one of the most impressive athletes in his role, as well as an element of great safety. He is probably suffering the negative energy of a club far from the glories of the past years.
- 8 - Samir Handanovic (Inter), 87
The super goalkeeper of Inter looks a little like good wine: the older he gets, the better he becomes and, in this case, stronger. The current season has started in the best possible way, and more than once the Slovenian goalkeeper has already been the protagonist of numerous incredible interventions or excellent matches, testifying how important he is for his club and how much he can make the difference between the goalkeepers of eFootball PES 2020.
- 7 - Hugo Lloris (Tottenham), 87
Lloris is probably the “least talented” player in the goalkeeping package offered by eFootball PES 2020. Let's be clear, he is still a great player but perhaps, compared to the others, he has never shown that superstar twist. He made up for it with hard work, sure, and it shows. Excellent professional!
- 6 - Manuel Neur (Bayern Munich), 89
A bit like Curtois, Neur's performance has declined a lot in recent years. Here, however, the reason is clearer: injuries. the German goalkeeper had to stop several times, and this inevitably altered his performance on the pitch. However, he remains one of the best goalkeepers ever, and this figure will never change.
- 5 - Marc Andrè Ter-Stegen (Barcelona), 89
Probably the one who benefited the most from the decline in Neur. Ter-Stegen, through ups and downs, has finally managed to become one of the most reliable extreme defenders in the world, as well as the starting goalkeeper of the German national team. Lucky and good!
- 4 - Ederson (Manchester City), 89
The growth of the Brazilian goalkeeper of the City is absolutely sensational. Arrived by chance and found himself the owner just as by chance, he quickly became one of the strongest goalkeepers ever, both for talent and for application and performance. Besides, he's only 26 years old.
- 3 - Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid), 90
Slovenia's other superstar goalkeeper. The granite defender of the “Colchoneros” goalposts becomes stronger and more reliable every year, thus becoming the absolute leader of both his team and the Slovenian national team (the same as Handa). A real predestined and, even in his case, only 26 springs on his shoulders. Monstrous!

United's gigantic Spanish goalkeeper is perhaps one of the few reasons to be happy with the English team in recent years. Talent, class and endless application make the vice-captain of the Reds a brilliant and never tame star. Among the best goalkeepers of eFootball PES 2020, he was also included in the list of the best players born after 1989.
- 1 - Alisson (Liverpool), 90
He could only be at the top of the standings (although the overall overall is identical to that of De Gea and Oblak). He wins the palm of best goalkeeper: Alisson Becker, former Roma goalkeeper and amazing guardian of the goal of the reigning European champions (Liverpool). Agility, incredible reflexes, uncommon sense of position: a better goalkeeper, probably, has yet to be born!
