PlayStation 5: the first tests from Japan!

There is now just over a month left before the release of the new PlayStation 5, but despite this, up to now there have been very few elected to have been able to try it firsthand. Today the situation changes slightly: in fact, an event dedicated to the new Sony console was organized in Japan, in which some of the most famous youtubers in the country were able to participate. However, during the test, it was not possible to evaluate the interface of the home of this new console (of which at the moment nothing is known yet), but only the demos of some launch titles and a game a little more away from the exit.

PlayStation 5: the first tests from Japan!

There were a total of four games present with their demos, we are talking about Astro's Playroom (the now classic mascot that acts as a "proving ground"), Balan Wonderworld, Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition and finally the new Godfall. In general it was possible to play some portions of the levels of these titles (as well as see some gameplay footage), with Godfall deserving a little mention aside. In the case of the latter new IP developed by Gearbox Software, the participants in the event were able to conclude the demo with an entire bossfight coming from the game, facing an elaborate sword-wielding construct.

Tests of the various games aside, some of these lucky users (in particular the specialized sites of Dangeki and 4Gamer) then expressed some opinions on the new PlayStation 5 cooling system. From these first tests it would seem to be particularly efficient in terms of efficiency and silence. The tests were carried out inside rooms with a temperature of about 30º Celsius (due to the professional lights), and despite this the noise of the internal fans was almost imperceptible; this with the air escaping from the slightly heated console. We are therefore talking about important steps forward also in this sense compared to a PlayStation 4 (Pro variant included) whose fan is heard too much, and which emits air that is too hot..
