With the first Pokémon Sword and Shield DLC, Game Freak updated the game's Pokédex by adding several Pokémon taken from previous generations. Among them, Porygon also appears: The Normal-type first generation pink and blue Pokémon. The Pokémon, however, will not be catchable. In this guide, we will explain how to get this cute Pokémon.
First, you must have already purchased and downloaded the first DLC of Pokémon Sword and Shield: The Lonely Island of Armor. The DLC will allow you to explore a whole new island with different Pokémon to catch and new missions to tackle.
In particular, it will be right the success of all the main missions of the game, the condition to be met in order to obtain Porygon. In fact, once you have successfully faced the last main mission of the DLC (which consists in defeating the master Mustard after completing the Tower of Darkness or the Tower of Water), we will be able to enter the room to the right of the Dojo and see Porygon floating in the room.
Interact with the Pokémon and you will get your Porygon in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
