Let's Sing 2019 - Review

Review for Let's Sing 2019. Game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii and Wii U, the video game was released on 16/11/2018

Reviewing a game like Let's Sing 2019 is never easy. Or rather, it would be if the one who writes the thoughts relating to the title under analysis did not live in an age in which the eardrums of any homo ludens worthy of this appellation had not been deflowered by the two thousand seven hundred musical titles placed on the market.

Let's Sing 2019 - Review

The problem isn't that Let's Sing 2019 is otherwise playable, it's just that Let's Sing 2019 confirms itself as a binary-musical tangle like many, too many other similar titles: messy enough, of course, but composed singing that nothing adds or takes away from the genre of reference, doing very little to increase the appeal of rhythm games.

Not even the innovations introduced - a theoretically tasty mode dedicated to asynchronous multiplayer, rather than the revival of mixtapes and the possibility of shouting together with up to three other singing throats - manage to revive a title that turns out to be sinful in what is the most important aspect in a title like this: the tracklist.

Although the presence of some sacred monsters of the international music scene is undeniable, scrolling through the titles of the thirty songs that make up the playful selection of Let's Sing 2019 is disappointing and not a little. He would like to try to please all PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch owners, first-hair singers, emulators of Cristian Imparato and nostalgic masters with a golden voice, without succeeding.

Voxler has promised the release of some DLC capable of enriching the singing possibilities conveyed by music production, but there is no doubt that, on the market, there are binary creations that are decidedly more valid from the point of view of quality and quantity. For those who have purchased downloadable contents related to previous editions, know that they are fully compatible with the latest version of the game.

Even the support for the dedicated app, downloadable on a smartphone and able to turn your telephone equipment into a real microphone, is not fully convincing, resulting really basic and often not very effective in reproducing the sinusoidal sound waves emitted by the one who plays with Let's Sing 2019.

Let's Sing 2019 - Review

Let's Sing 2019 is yet another product that is affected by strong competition. In particular, although there is no lack of news compared to the previous installment of the series, one cannot fail to see how the proposed tracklist is not very incisive, apart from a few small exceptions, as well as full of trite and contrite pieces, thus resulting not very appealing. Recommended only for (you) possessed of karaoke games.
