AMD revealed at CES 2020 in Las Vegas that it is in the process of making some additions to the Radeon line-up RX 5000 equipped with GPU ships. The news initially welcomed with enthusiasm, however, did not find effective feedback on any release date or a real technical data sheet.
All we are told is that the business partner AFOX, on payroll AMD and nvidia, would register four new VGA models in the series AMD Radeon RX, high-end graphics cards that should rival Nvidia's counterparts.
The four registered codes would be inherent to Radeon RX 5950XT, Radeon RX 5950, Radeon RX 5900 e Radeon RX 5800 XT.
In the current state of affairs, nothing else is known. Assumptions can be made about the architectural typology adopted on the new models which could be the RDNA first generation or the newest RDNA2 at 7 nm, but we remain in the field of hypotheses and there is still nothing official.
