During the CES 2020 Acer presented two new models of its popular series Swift 3: a 13,5-inch model (SF313-52 / G) based on the latest processors Intel Core XNUMXth Generation and the other 14 inch (SF314-42) based on the most recent AMD Ryzen Mobile 4000 series processors.
For the uninitiated, the Swift 3 Series notebooks are ultra-portable designed to meet the needs of users who work on the go, delivering excellent performance and eye-popping graphics in a sleek and refined metal chassis.
Thanks to the thickness of 15,95 mm, the weight of 1,19 kg and the elegant metal chassis, the Swift 3 (SF313-52 / G) is easy to pack and take on the go. It features an ultra-thin bezel display1 that allows for a 83,65% screen-to-body ratio and an aspect ratio of 3: 2 to offer 18% more viewing space in vertical height. The 13,5-inch display supports 100% sRGB color space, Acer Color Intelligence and Acer ExaColor technologies to bring images and videos to life in stunning colors.
The Swift 3 (SF313-52 / G) is equipped with the new Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor, flanked by a dedicated video card from nvidia. The battery manages to guarantee a maximum autonomy of 16 hours of productivity. The notebook also supports fast charging, providing up to 4 hours of use with a charge of just 30 minutes. The backlit keyboard allows users to continue typing even in dimly lit environments; the notebook supports the Wake On Voice (WoV) feature, which allows users to interact with Cortana even when the device is in Standby.
The Swift 3 supports Windows Hello via a fingerprint reader, to ensure easier and more secure system login. On board we find a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 connectors, a USB 3.1 Gen 2 and an HDMI port. The 3-inch Acer Swift 14 (SF314-42) is a modern device that offers a perfect balance of style, power and efficiency. The latest generation model weighs just 1,2kg, is 16,55mm thick and features a lightweight metal chassis. The device features a high screen-to-body ratio thanks to the ultra-thin bezels.
Acer Swift 3 (SF313-52G) will be available in EMEA in March 2020 with prices starting at 799 euros.
