Coming to Switch Serious Sam Collection

Serious Sam Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch. A tweet from Devolver Digital, publisher of the game, announced the release of the popular FPS saga also on the console of the Japanese house. The tweet also includes the release date, which is November 17 and a link to the Nintendo eShop for the game.

The hordes demanded Serious Sam Collection on #NintendoSwitch and who are we to argue.

The Serious Sam Collection will include Serious Sam HD: The First Encouter, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encouter and Serious Sam 3: BFE and its expansion The Legend of the Beast and the Jewel of the Nile. Its price is $ 29,99, but it can't be pre-ordered at the moment.

A physical edition release of the game does not seem planned at the moment, although many fans would like it. But if you were to follow the logic expressed by Devolver Digital in their announcement tweet, it is very likely that if a good number of fans of the saga request the physical edition, it will be released.

A few more questions below the tweet ask how the porting to Nintendo Switch will fit. Joy-Con's aren't the best in aiming accuracy or ease of use in firefights. However, other FPS like Doom and Wolfenstein 2 have used gyroscopic aiming to perfection. It is currently unclear whether the game will support this feature.
