Cyberpunk 2077: no ray tracing on AMD at launch

We have been waiting for it for months and it seems that December 10, 2020 is the right date, finally, for the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. As proof of this, there is a feverish media campaign by CD Projekt RED aimed at making all aspects known and giving a taste of its new title. Here then we got to see the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles and recently the operation of ray tracing on Nvidia GPU, however at launch this important component will not be available on AMD video cards.

CD Projekt RED however wanted to confirm that the team is working closely with AMD to launch ray tracing as soon as possible on their video cards., as demonstrated by the tweet from Marcin Momot (the company's Global Community Lead) in response to a message from a fan:

Not for the release but we are working together with AMD to introduce this feature as soon as we can.

The discussion arose following the dissemination of minimum and recommended system requirements on PC for Cyberpunk 2077, including the ray tracing component.
