The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Our recap of the Nintendo Line Up begins with September 20, 2019, when the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, the historic chapter of the famous Zelda saga released in 1993 on Game Boy, will arrive on the Nintendo Switch. It is a sequel to A Link to the Past and tells the exploits of Link after the defeat of Ganon. In this title, our hero has an accident at sea and ends up in the mysterious island of Koholint and discover the truth behind it.

It is mainly a 1 to 1 remake with the original, but there will be new features that allow the game to be more fresh and modern than in the past. This version for Switch allows you to take advantage of the map and customize it with various tokens and notes to keep track of all the discoveries that Link will make on the island.

In our recap of the Nintendo Line Up, the demo we tried was set in the early stages of the game, when Link wakes up in Marin and Tarin's house. From then on, our hero will be completely free to explore the island as he pleases, facing monsters and dungeons he will encounter along his journey. Unless you remember the game by heart because you have played it over and over, get ready to get lost and retrace your steps often to find the right path necessary to advance in the adventure. The dungeons then are always characterized by traps and puzzles that require the right amount of gray matter to be able to reach the boss on duty.

Get ready to fall in love with this massive Zelda adventure again.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

We continue the recap of the Nintendo Line Up with the third chapter of Marvel Ultimate Alliance will be an exclusive Nintendo Switch developed by Team Ninja available starting from July 19th. It is a top-down action game in which we manage a group of 4 superheroes with the classic goal of saving the world. What has always characterized this series is the incredible number of characters from the Marvel universe that you can use during the game, which is why it lends itself so much to cooperation. In that sense, on Nintendo Switch, he really found his perfect home.

Each character is characterized, as you can imagine, by powers and abilities with effects ranging from support, to heal, to mere damage on enemies. There are heroes who can fly and others who cannot, some who focus on melee attacks and others on distance. A reason, this, to always try to choose 4 characters who have a certain synergy between them and can fill each other's weaknesses.

The game also offers RPG elements where our characters can level up, upgrade and learn new moves to use in combat.

By accumulating the ultimate bar, it is possible to perform spectacular special moves that can even be chained with those of all the other party members to cause simply devastating damage, especially useful against bosses. The demo characters were 13, from Captain Marvel to Wolverine up to Star Lord and Thor, intent on a mission to help Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, just to emphasize the fact that in this game there will really be anyone.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is an unassuming game that shows its best played with friends who are passionate about the world of superhero comics. There are really something for all tastes and even the plot seems to offer particularly interesting ideas.

Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

There is now just over a year left for the XXXII edition of the Olympics to be held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. As is now customary, Nintendo has decided to pay homage to the next Olympic Games with a new title that will feature the famous mustachioed plumber and the blue porcupine, or Mario and Sonic. The title will be Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
There will be many disciplines to play both alone, but also in the company of up to a maximum of four players. We will have the possibility to use both the physical buttons of the Joy Con or use the gyroscope integrated into it.

The disciplines that we were able to try in the demo during the course of this E3 2019 in our recap of the Nintendo Line Up were not many, but among these there were some unpublished and therefore never seen before in a Mario and Sonic game. We dabbled in five disciplines, three new: Surf, Karate and Skateboard, and two that have been around for some time now, namely Obstacle Running and Archery.

For convenience, we played both disciplines using the Joy Con's physical keys and not the gyroscope.

Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is a really fun party game but which obviously must be played in company, because alone it will surely bore us after a short time. The new modes are really well built, especially Surf and Skateboard, and are capable of giving a good sense of challenge. On a technical level nothing to say, Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games presents well-made graphics and very pleasant to see. The title turns out to be fluid without any drop in frame rate. Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will be released in November 2019, the exact day still does not know, but it will be the first title in this saga to land on Nintendo Switch.

So here is the Nintendo Line Up about to land on our Nintendo Switches, what do you think?
