How to see the devices associated with your Netflix account
First of all if you are interested you can see all the devices and also the place associated with them that have logged in to Netflix with your account. Here's how to see devices connected to Netflix.
- Log in to Netflix with your account from either your browser or app.
- Now go to the Netflix menu and select Account.
- In the Settings go up Recent streaming activity.
- Here you will see all devices and locations that have been streamed to your account recently.
NB: if you notice strange accesses from unknown devices or locations, proceed to change the Netflix password and disconnect all devices associated with your account as we will explain in this article.
How to disconnect a device from Netflix
You must know that if you have more than one device associated with your Netflix account to unpair only that device you will have to go to it, start Netflix and click on Exit. You cannot disassociate only one device remotely.
How to disconnect all devices from Netflix
If your purpose is to disconnect all devices associated with your account, instead, there is a function on Netflix that allows you to log out of all devices using your Netflix account in one click.
This feature is often used for security reasons when you think your account has been hacked.
To disconnect all devices do the following:
- Log in to Netflix with your account from either your browser or app.
- Now go to the Netflix menu and select Account.
- Once on account in the section Settings you will find the voice Sign out on all devices, select it.
- Confirm the operation by pressing the button EXIT.
- Done now, all devices associated with your Netflix account will begin to be disconnected it may take up to 8 hours to complete the procedure.
We remind you that if you are using this procedure because you think your account has been hacked, first change the password and then the process of disconnecting all devices so as to be sure that no one will access your Netflix account again.
Once disconnected, you can re-associate new devices by logging in to them with your email and password.
