As in previous Mass Effect chapters, also in Mass Effect Andromeda there will be an opportunity to start a romance with various characters from the title. In fact, depending on the sex we will give to our character, there will be different opportunities to start a with some of the crew members and beyond.
It will be possible to start a romance with Avela Kjar, a historic Angaran who can only be attended by the male Ryder.
How to manage romance with Avela Kjar
Romance with Avela can be initiated after visiting Aya and meeting Evfra. After knowing Evfra, go to the landing and look for Avela. It will offer you different quests, which will correspond to different requirements that we will have to complete for the romance. When speaking to Avela, be sure to choose the dialogue option “To meet people like you”. This will be the first step.
The second must be undertaken in the mission "Restoring the past". Go to the museum on Aya and find Avela. Talk to her to start the second key conversation. The third trigger will be during the “Forgotten History” mission. Go back to Aya's museum and talk to Avela again. As you talk to them, make sure you choose the following options:
- "I did it for you."
- "Exact."
- (After returning the instrument) "Not all, thanks to you"
- (After returning the card) "I hope it increases my chances."
Do not miss any of these options, otherwise you will completely compromise the , making it impossible for it to evolve.
The last step to complete the romance with Avela Kjar will be to be taken after completing the mission "Journey to Meridian". Check your email: you will find a message from Avela. After reading it, head towards Aya, specifically towards the waterfall. Avela will be waiting for us right in front of it. Talk to her and select the right dialogue option, to kiss her and bring the romance to fruition.
