Chapter 9 of The Evil Within is undoubtedly challenging but thanks to this short guide you will discover how to open the safe (after recovering the two knobs) without too much effort.
First, the lower safe knob must be collected: from the atrium of the mansion you will enter the double doors in the center and on a table immediately to your left you can find the luminous object you need.
Instead we will have to climb the ladder in the library to recover the upper safe knob.
