HP releases the new M.2 EX900 Pro SSD

    HP, a well-known personal computer company, today announces the release of the EX2 Pro M.900 SSD. This device supports the NVMe 1.3 protocol. PCIe Gen3 x 4 interface.

    As for performance, we reach sequential and random read speeds of 2095 MB / s and 280 K IOPS respectively. HP EX900 Pro M.2 is equipped with a PCIe controller chip with 4 channels of flash memory. In addition, there are several technologies compatible with this product, such as NANDXtend error correction code (ECC), SRAM ECC and finally it also supports end-to-end data path protection technology. Maximum performance is achieved by mid-range laptops and gaming computers.

    Thanks to the independent cache there is the possibility to temporarily store small files in order to effectively and efficiently reduce the continuous data writing so as to guarantee an extension of the SSD life cycle.
