Shortly after the release, new - and promising - details on Nier Replicant were revealed.
Only one week after the release of NieR Replicant su PC and console Sony e Microsoft products the producer Yosuke Saito wanted to reveal some new information about its characteristics, announcing to the players the arrival of many surprises both from the point of view of the gameplay and that of the narrative.
According to what Saito said, in fact, Replicant will include several game sections not present in the original, combined with many small tricks and a completely new story. This last detail in particular should not be underestimated: the first chapter boasted, for the main quest alone, a longevity of between 20 and 25 hours, so these additions can only enrich the gaming experience.
Another novelty offered by Nier Replicant it will be the presence of a boss still shrouded in mystery and hidden in the scenario, which Saito has defined as extremely powerful. To make the clash with this new character even more interesting will be the changes to the combat system, made based on the work carried out by the team of PlatinumGames with the most recent Never: Automata.
Last, but not least, will be the references to NieR: Gestalt e Never: Automata. The new NieR Replicant in fact, it will offer many ideas to the previously mentioned titles, in an attempt to offer players and fans of the franchise a more in-depth look at the plot within them. The latter can also for the first time be discovered in a completely unexpected way, that is through the eyes of the young protagonist - and loving brother - in his attempt to save his sister.
This updated version of the original NieR Replicant, initially released in Japan in 2010 and representing a prequel to the latest Automata, will be tasked with bringing the critically acclaimed masterpiece back to life in a completely modernized version. The title will be available on console PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on PC, starting with the next one 23th April.
