Two sides of the same coin: here's where to find Mew and her clone Mewtwo.
Among the most famous creatures in the series and linked together by genetics, Mewtwo and Mew certainly could not be missing in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. This guide will let you know how to get them both and thus add the two powerful Psychic-type Pokémon to the rescue group.
How to find Mewtwo
The man-made Pokémon from Mew's DNA, Mewtwo, is revered as one of the strongest in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. Unlocking the possibility of an audience with Mewtwo requires first finishing the main story. Once the credits have passed, the next expedition will take us to Remote Mount dungeon, where Ho-Oh awaits us. The first legendary Ash encountered will be defeated for a chance to explore the West Cave, where Blastoise and Charizard return licking their wounds after being defeated by Mewtwo. There Grotta Ponente in the remake consists of 20 floors instead of the original 99. Once you reach the top floor of the dungeon, Mewtwo will join the team once bent to the will of the rescue team. He doesn't have a field to unlock before the match, and like Kyogre and other legendaries before him, he automatically creates a personal base camp.
How to find Mew
To make Mew appear in the game, you will first need to finish the main adventure and unlock alternative dungeons. Between these, Storm Sea must be completed and Kyogre defeated. Having recruited the colossal Kyogre, the following morning you will receive a letter that speaks of the discovery of some ruins. It will then unlock a new very long dungeon called Buried Ruin. It is the home of Mew. To recruit him, you will first need to purchase the Extreme Island Base Camp for 9.000 Pokémon and get Wigglytuff in Pokémon Square.
Buried Ruin consists of 99 floors, and to get to Mew it will be necessary to overcome at least 35. Three bosses will try to stop us in the climb: Regirock, Registeel and Regice. The third generation golems will appear on floors 15, 25 and 35 respectively. Each of them will be challenged and will release to defeat the pieces that put together will form the Carillon, an object that has the ability to summon and randomly find Mew between floors 36 and 99.
Mew must be recruited like any other normal Pokémon and to maximize the chances of capture we invite you to read our guide on how to recruit Pokémon, perhaps by making the leader of the group wear the Friendly Ribbon. Once you've convinced Pokémon # 151 to join the party, you can use an Escape Sphere to take it home without risking.
That was all there was to know about Mewtwo and Mew.
