Sega has recently announced the opening of digital pre-orders of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The Japanese company also revealed details about a new mode called Skill Battle mode and the game's online features. Both will be available at the launch of the title.
In Skill Battle mode, players will have the ability to create teams of three characters. These characters can be chosen in the game settings of Puyo Puyo or Tetris. In addition, you can use unique abilities of selected characters to create an ultimate lineup.
New features of the Skill Battle Mode
- Character skills: It is possible to take advantage of the unique abilities of the characters to turn the tide of the game, such as healing ability, changing the color of the Puyos and the erasing of Tetris lines;
- Go up by level- increase HP, MP attack, defense and recovery of characters in Adventure Mode;
- Card Subject: You can upgrade your team with Object Card to improve the stats of the characters.
Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 offers fun for any player, from the most experienced to the novice. Based on the Puzzle League from the previous chapter, three new leagues have been added: Tetris League, Puyo Puyo League and Skill Battle League.
