Warden is a 3 armor and 1 speed operator who has either a shotgun or semi-automatic rifle as his primary weapon, a pistol and an SMG as a secondary weapon, and finally a mobile shield or barbed wire as a secondary gadget . Warden's ability is obviously a direct counter to Glaz's recent rework and allows you to counter different types of flanking such as those used by Blitz and Ying.
Especially as regards the Danish operator, Nokk, we are faced with an introduction in the roster of great importance that will probably be able to climb the hierarchies of the players' choices in a rapid way given its incredible usefulness. In fact, in a game like Rainbow Six, where audio is extremely important, the ability to remove the noises emitted, even more than hiding your view, is perhaps one of the best possible skills. Quick and lethal, Nokk masterfully supports its ability with a respectable arsenal capable of covering all distances, but above all it proposes an SMG as a possible choice of main weapon that obviously puts it ahead of various defense operators in clashes at medium range.
Warden, on the other hand, turns out to be an extremely complex operator to use: very cumbersome and forced to a very static style of play, it is difficult to insert in team mechanics if not really in the most close-knit ones. Furthermore, Warden is linked to the presence of smoke bombs and flashbangs in the opposing team, otherwise his skill is almost useless. Our test therefore offered us two extremely different operators that go in opposite ways to integrate with the present roster: Nokk in an immediate, almost automatic way, Warden instead the exact opposite, requiring a considerable amount of game time to be understood. fully.
The new competitive season of Rainbow Six Siege, however, also brings with it other introductions in addition to the operators. Operation Phantom Sight in this sense brings with it the rework of Cafè Dostoevskij, with the famous map redesigned to be more optimal and more suitable for the new abilities introduced with the succession of the seasons. In addition to the map, however, the rework will also affect the management of the Ranked which will now have a modernized and all-encompassing menu of the details the player needs, but also the in-game store will see a new graphic design applied also in this case in order to align with the times.
The new season of Rainbow Six Siege, Operation Phantom Sight, presents itself as not revolutionary but absolutely well balanced, with some high notes (Nokk above all) but also some doubts (Warden) in a combination of excellent grafts that are certainly preparing to launch the real revolution in the coming seasons.
