A Resident Evil Showcase will take place next 21 January 2021, at 23.00 pm now, and will offer a guided tour of Resident Evil Village, a new trailer, the first gameplay in absolute and other news on the highly anticipated sequel to Capcom. And that's not all since rumors leaked, for the first time, about an alleged RE multiplayer version in beta testing .

Resident Evil Village was first announced at the PS5 reveal showcase in 2020. The release is scheduled for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC in 2021, while Capcom reported that it is still thinking about the Xbox One and PS4 versions.
From the first appearance we have so far seen that the new title is set in a desolate and snowy village, which players will face once again as Ethan Winters (protagonist in RE 7). It is therefore likely that fans of the horror franchise can expect a much more open space than the previous one.
In conjunction with the announcement of the Resident Evil Village Showcase, Capcom has also launched a website that mentions a closed beta test for a game that will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the saga.. The beta test will run on PS4 and Xbox One, although PS5 or Xbox Series X | S accepted in the beta will be able to do so in backward compatibility.
More details on the beta test will be shared during the presentation on January 21, however the beta test will be held on January 28 and 29 and you will have until 25 to register if you have a Capcom ID. For now we only know that game sessions should support 4-6 players. Keep the adrenaline at bay for a little while longer!
