Samsung Electronics, a leader in the gaming monitor market, today announced the global launch of its revolutionary Odyssey G7 gaming monitor.
This monitor was unveiled during CES 2020 in Las Vegas. The Odyssey range reinvents the gaming experience using curved displays that allow the gamer to fully identify with the gameplay.
The G7 monitor is the world's first 1000R gaming monitor which means it boasts a 1.000mm radius of curvature. As for the refresh rate, this model reaches up to 240 Hz which combined with the 1ms response time create the perfect mix for professional and competitive gamers. The panel used is a QLED in order to make images and videos (and gameplay) fluid and captivating.
The performance of the Odyssey range has been certified by TÜV Rheinland, one of the leading international certification organizations, which has recognized monitors equipped with the best 1000R curved display and is “Eye Comfort” certified.
The display resolution of the G7 monitors (27 and 32 inches) is WQHD (Wide Quad-High Definition). The maximum brightness is 600 cd / m².
The design is clean and elegant. The matte black color predominates and thanks to a lighting system it is possible to make this monitor elegant and at the same time give that touch of liveliness.
In addition, the monitors belonging to the G7 range support NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.
