The year that has just ended has been very positive for the Samsung Morning Stars and has definitively decreed them as one of the most successful esports realities in the world, thanks also to the conquest of the title of Best Esports Team Video Game Awards 2019.
With an event held in the Samsung District in the presence of Bryan Box and broadcast live on Twitch, the new teams of the Samsung Morning Stars were presented today. The protagonists of the scene are the new roster of the Overwatch team made up of pro players HearThBeaT, Frostedd, Saken, Dennia, Sab, LilYung and coached by coach Joynt, and the League of Legends line-up, composed of Drmatt, Aki, Click, Stenbosse, Cboi and led by coach Cristo.
During the event, a video of the new QLED Odyssey G7 gaming monitor was also broadcast, presented in a world exclusive at CES in Las Vegas and available from the second half of 2020. The monitor, developed in collaboration with the Morning Stars team in 2019, is designed for the specific needs of players. Odyssey G7 has an extremely deep curvature which, together with the backlighting guaranteed by Quantum Dot technology and the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD), allows you to obtain an image with sharply defined colors. The product is designed for competitive gaming: it combines a response time of 1ms and a refresh rate of 240Hz with Nvidia G-Sync technology.
During the meeting, the new Samsung Morning Stars jersey was also previewed and the sponsors were announced, who will support the players in each of their sporting adventures: AK Informatica, Intel, Logitech, Zotac and S-Nap Shot.
