The links between Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are many, first of all the costume inspired by the film that is available within the title since its release.
In addition to this, however, there is also another homage to the Oscar-winning film, namely the scene in which Miles manages to step into the role of the new Spider-Man jumping from one of New York's skyscrapers. In fact, the scene was also reproduced in the game of Insomniac Games.
The result was posted on Twitter by 3D character artist and sound designer, Dal, who created a short video where it shows Miles launching from the skyscraper and then swinging through the NY skyline, very similar to the scene starring Miles Morales in Into the Spider-Verse. Insomniac recently announced via social media that Marvel's Spider-Man PlayStation 4 saves can be ported to Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. The feature, not available at launch, will be part of the next update, arriving later this month along with 3 new Spider-Man costumes.
For the more attentive eyes, Miles in the title dedicated to him no longer wears the iconic Air Jordan 1 but the Adidas Superstars, in themed coloration, red and black. Insomniac wanted to pay homage to the model's 50th opponent in its title. Among other things, the pair worn by Miles will be available in the Adidas stores from November 19th.
