    Best Xbox One Action Games

Below is the list of the best Xbox One games in the action game genre, which includes titles such as classic Tomb Raider-style action titles, as well as FPS or derivatives.

    Resident evil village

Have you played Resident Evil 7 enjoying its story, character and first-person view? Resident Evil Village is proposed as a direct sequel, making it a must buy if you have answered positively to the first questions. It is a courageous chapter that takes up many elements of the saga, yes, but declines them in a new sauce.

    • Resident Evil Village Review

    Outriders

Underlying it are Destiny-style online Action RPG mechanics and an extraterrestrial sci-fi setting. It doesn't necessarily want to be a GaaS, given the storyline that develops as we progress through the levels. It's a far from perfect game, but it has some pretty good tricks up its sleeve. During the fighting it can be lively, and very, very pyrotechnic. Ah, on Xbox it's included in the Game Pass!

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is not a perfect game. There are bugs, graphic defects, some problems in the direction and in the management of the dubbing. It is true that the attention to detail in creating a world that is as faithful as possible to the historical period in which Valhalla is set is nothing short of incredible. The music and glimpses of Norway and England will thrill even the most shy of players.

    Mafia Definitive Edition

Mafia Definitive Edition is a great remake, with a "unique" major flaw. Historical fans of the first chapter will not find the original music, the voice acting itself and will notice some small changes in the story. If you can overlook these details, the road is literally downhill. The combat system has been revisited and the graphics engine is nothing short of splendid.

    Marvel's Avengers

Lovers of action games and Marvel superheroes will hardly be able to stay away from him. And all in all the campaign and game structure is also quite successful. Longevity on the other hand is not that high, but there are several extra activities to carry out even at the end of the story. Graphically, in certain situations, it is really at the top.

    Resident Evil 3

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Unfortunately, it is not up to the remake of 2, not so much from a graphical gameplay point of view. Indeed, to be honest, the graphic aspect is one of the most successful things! We are talking more about longevity (it is particularly short) and consistency with the original chapter. If nothing else, there is also a multiplayer sector.

    DOOM Eternal

DOOM Eternal is the new benchmark for FPS. id Software and Bethesda have succeeded in the enterprise of churning out an unrivaled sequel, which expands the gameplay and which greatly enriches the story and all the lore that gravitates around the DOOM universe. A shooter with a soul and its own why, which continues from where we left off in 2016 giving more and more a sense of continuity to the whole.

    • DOOM Eternal review
    • Microsoft Store

Even more frenetic and with many new features in terms of gameplay and customization.

    Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

An interesting mix of genres, more Action RPG than real fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot amazes in part for the graphics sector (more than anything else of the characters), in part for the choreographic and pyrotechnic fights. It faithfully follows (even if with some carelessness) the Z saga making us relive all its key moments, therefore perfect for true fans of the Akira Toriyama saga.

    Gears 5

Gears 5 continues the work of The Coalition started with the fourth chapter, packaging an excellent campaign that tries to dare. If you had paid a bit more attention in the development of the plot and in the construction of the open scenarios, now we would probably be talking about the best chapter ever. Without a shadow of a doubt, however, it is one of the best that history has embraced.

    Borderlands 3

An action RPG to say the least adorable, even if rather "violent" and vulgar. But the saga has always been like this, and this third chapter does nothing but re-propose the usual formula with lots of improvements and lots of content to play. If you are a lover of the genre and do not mind the first person view it is an almost obligatory purchase. The context is science fiction and even if you have not played the previous chapters you will still be able to get into the part.

    Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

It may sound trivial to say "The best Monster Hunter ever" but it is a statement that is very close to the reality of the facts. Perfect for fans of the series and also for those approaching the series for the first time. In 2019 Iceborne has arrived, a huge expansion for Monster Hunter World that adds an avalanche of in-game content. Among other things, you will find a package including the original game and the expansion.

    Remnant: From the Ashes

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Remnant: From the Ashes makes no secret of its influences and puts on the plate an unprecedented vision of the recipe designed by From Software, where three juicy ingredients coexist: the third-person shooter, the growth of the character and the cooperative up to three players.

    • Remnant Review: From the Ashes

    Control

The new Remedy effort is known, as usual, to stand out from the crowd. An original action game, projected in a setting that is anything but typical, with mechanics that continually try to change the cards on the table. It is not without defects but it knows how to amuse and entertain.

    Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Wolfenstein: Youngblood tries to please everyone: the orphans of Wolfenstein II, those looking for a good co-op title and also those looking for a "nice forced" first person shooter that also costs the right amount.

    • Wolfenstein Review: Youngblood

    RANGE 2

In RAGE 2 we see the convergence of thought of the two software, id Software and Avalanche Studios. The gunplay is frenetic and very fun, and everything is immersed in an open world that can offer a lot of ideas.

    • RAGE 2 review

    Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

An old-fashioned video game both in the way it is played and in the aesthetics, made by experienced players for experienced players, with numerous advantages and not lacking in defects that collects the spiritual heritage of Castlevania.

    • Bloodstained review: Ritual of the Night

    Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

To call him "only" the spiritual heir of Dark Souls is an understatement. It is an understatement because in fact Sekiro is something different, which in any case boasts a level of difficulty that is nothing short of remarkable. He will be able to bring out the worst side of you, and many may give up from the first challenges. But being able to beat him is a great satisfaction.

    • Sekiro Review: Shadows Die Twice

    Devil May Cry 5

Devil May Cry is back (and old Capcom too)! This fifth chapter combines endless boorishness, incredible graphics and three different characters, each with its own style of play, its graphic effects and its story. A must have, especially on Xbox One X.

    Far Cry New Dawn

Far Cry New Dawn may not appeal to some of you, especially with its increasingly RPG and less and less FPS mechanics. After this step, we are faced with an open world smaller than Far Cry 5 but still full of opportunities.

    Metro Exodus

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

A wonderful single player game that takes us back to the Moscow of 2036 after a nuclear conflict that changed the face of the world forever. Only this time we will leave Moscow to explore pristine (and contaminated) Russia, discovering what has become of human civilization.

    Resident Evil 2 Remake

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Hats off to Capcom: the Resident Evil 2 remake is practically flawless. Renewed graphics engine (RE Engine also used for Resident Evil 7), extended story and puzzles and all the charm of the most famous chapter ever of the survival horror saga that made the history of the videogame media.

    Red Dead Redemption 2

It is the best open-world ever, and it could only come from those who, with open-worlds, have been working on it for a lifetime. Hats off to Rockstar Games for this umpteenth masterpiece.

    Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

After 12 years of absence, the Ace Combat series returns to Xbox with a new chapter that introduces many innovations in terms of weather management. Piloting becomes increasingly difficult and rewarding, and there are also two multiplayer modes to compete online!

    Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

If you have an Xbox One X it is one of those titles not to be missed. Overall though, if you loved the previous two chapters of the reboot series that started in 2013, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the worthy sequel, even if it owes so much to the Rise of the Tomb Raider gameplay framework that it clearly inherited.

    State of Decay 2

The new Microsoft exclusive curated by Undead Labs takes us to the desolate wastes of a post-apocalyptic land. If you have played the first chapter and enjoyed it, do not miss it in any way. And if you are looking for a survival sandbox that puts you to the test, the same goes for it.

    Far Cry 5

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Far Cry 5 is an immense action game, which leaves a practically total freedom of approach and continuation of the story and equipped, among other things, with a truly incredible graphic sector.

    Dark Souls Remastered

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Bandai Namco has finally released the remastered of the first, historic chapter of the saga that started the souls like genre. Various improvements, especially to the multiplayer sector, offer you another excuse to replay it (or to face it for the first time).

    The Evil Within 2

From the software house founded by the creator of Resident Evil comes a very enjoyable survival horror with open world, stealth and RPG elements, characterized by an excellent plot, a more than discreet longevity and a graphic sector that has its own to say even on consoles.

    Dead Rising 4

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

The new chapter dedicated to the Dead Rising saga could not be missing! It is still Dead Rising, but this fourth chapter changes direction, definitively breaking out of the canons of the survival genre to become in effect a strange scrolling fighting game.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard + DLC

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Resident Evil 7 biohazard will be remembered as a resurgence point for the series. Anxious, disturbing, oppressive and above all, frightening: a game not to be underestimated, to be played preferably with the lights off and alone. If you want to give yourself a shot, that is.

We update by reporting that 4 DLCs are available for RE7, all also included in the new Gold Edition!

    Gears of War 4

We could not fail to open this section with one of the most delicious Xbox One exclusives, the fourth chapter of the historical saga Gears of War. It must be admitted that the development team did not dare that much, and the final result is similar to the previous chapters. But it is also one of the strengths of the title.

    Quantum Break

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Quantum Break is a work as ambitious as it is innovative that combines the video game with the immense world of serial television series. Maybe it didn't get all the success it deserved, or maybe the development team could put in some extra effort. The fact is that if you like the genre of action games it is an almost obligatory purchase.

    Rise of the Tomb Raider

Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of those games that cannot be missing from your collection of action titles. It's just a pity that Square Enix has not opted to launch the 20 Years Celebration also on Xbox One, however all the additional content can be purchased through the Microsoft store.

    DOOM

DOOM returns after three successful chapters, but this is not a sequel, but a reboot, a fantastic new beginning. The hit shooter is back and is in great shape: extremely fast, fun, brutal at the right point and accompanied by an incredibly energetic soundtrack. And there is also a great multiplayer compartment!

    Dishonored 2

For lovers of the stealth game genre, there is nothing better than Dishonored 2, a title published by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda that continues the story of Dishonored by introducing a new playable character, new settings, skills and levels to be faced. almost flawlessly.

    Watchdogs 2

The first chapter had perhaps disappointed, but Ubisoft has definitely made up for it with this second chapter that presents even more fun and sensible gameplay dynamics. Perhaps the plot and the characters are not at the top, but the freedom offered and the infinite possibilities make up for the shortcomings.

    Best Xbox One Racing Games

Below is the list of the best Xbox One titles belonging to the racing game genre.

    DiRT 5

We have never seen gods such detailed and wonderful circuits in a rally video game, nor in many Corsican exponents. The DiRT 5 tracks are set in 9 different countries, from Italy to China, up to the frozen tracks of Norway. The landscapes are splendid, very clean in reading and fun to face with different vehicles.

    Forza Horizon 4

Forza Horizon 3 was spectacular, Forza Horizon 4 is even more so. Improved graphics sector, expanded and changing game world, given the cycle of the seasons, even more cars, even more events, in short, a must have that you absolutely must not miss.

Probably the best arcade driving game made so far: it will be difficult to unseat him from the podium or at least create such a charismatic and eventful open world.

    Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

The remake by Beenox and Activision also lands on Xbox One. It is probably one of the funniest kart games you can buy for this platform!

    F1 2020

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

The best chapter of the series. After already several excellent simulators, Codemasters churns out the final chapter, with a lot of game content and with a graphics sector that lives up to expectations.

    Forza Motorsport 7

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

If Xbox One retires tomorrow, it might still be able to say it has two of the best racing games of recent years. Seeing it in action is a joy for the eyes and ears, making it satisfying both for those unfamiliar with the genre and for those looking for a slightly more simulative experience.

    onrush

A great surprise that we are madly in love with, calling it a bit the Overwatch of racing games. This is an exhilarating and competitive team arcade experience that you may never be able to tear yourself away from.

    MotoGP 20

It is one of the best video game exponents of the genre of motorcycle racing games that you can currently find on Xbox (among the most current ones), and as if that were not enough it was created by the software house Milestone, engaged for years in titles belonging to this genre.

    • MotoGP review 20

    The Crew 2

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

It's not a perfect title, so much so that our ending (7.5 out of 10) wouldn't be enough to grant him access to this list. Nonetheless, The Crew 2 is a title destined to improve over time, and the freedom offered, even in terms of vehicles, is truly commendable. Check out our review!

    Need for Speed: Payback

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

EA's Need for Speed series returns in style on PC and Console. The game mechanics lead us to experience a Fast and Furious-style story as three characters, with a rather vast open world in which to find even old grinders to refurbish.

    Assetto Corsa

When it comes to good products we always talk about them with a hint of pride, especially when it comes to deserving titles like this one. Assetto Corsa was born from the software house Kunos Simulations (publisher 505 Games, editorial division of Digital Bros.) and is a real driving simulator that gives its best with a steering wheel.

    Project CARS 3

If the Forza series for some reason is not to your liking, the Bandai Namco series will take care of you. Project CARS 3 takes what was good in the first chapter by improving and expanding it further. Perhaps on the graphic level it is not the best, but it has many arrows in its bow.

    Best Xbox One Sports Games

Below is the list of the best Xbox One games belonging to the sports genre, including football simulators such as FIFA and PES.

    AO International Tennis

After a first timid attempt in 2018, the AO tennis series returns with a second chapter that improves upon various weaknesses of its predecessor. There is still work to be done from an aesthetic point of view but there are still several steps forward, and there are not many alternatives if you are looking for something related to tennis on Xbox!

    • AO Tennis 2 review

    NBA 2K20

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

The big face of Anthony Davis, who dominates the cover of NBA 2K20 threateningly, leaves no room for doubt: this is a tough game, designed to exalt American basketball and everything that goes around it to the nth degree. The new 2K Games production offers the player a very rich menu, which risks becoming almost indigestible if you try to taste each course, but can offer - once again - an extremely complete experience.

Such a varied and engaging game is difficult to find: not a few improvements compared to previous editions.

    FIFA 21

For the past few years EA has focused on game modes and the graphics engine. This year there are not so many important innovations: the classic filings here and there that do not overturn the essence of the game. If you are looking for something new, however, you can console yourself with the fun Volta mode.

    eFootball PES 2021

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

This year Konami breaks a tradition that has been going on for some time. PES 2021 is a so-called Season Update of the 2020 chapter. We therefore find the same graphic engine, some slight gameplay news and obviously all the updated teams, squads and leagues. The price is much lower, especially if you own a copy of PES 2020.

    Best Xbox One RPG Games

Below is the list of the best Xbox One games belonging to the RPG genre (RPGs), including variants such as JRPG (Japanese RPGs), Action RPGs and the like.

    Mass Effect Legendary Edition

For the first time ever, the original trilogy of the BioWare RPG saga arrives in a single package on Xbox. Sure, maybe you could have recovered them via backward compatibility, but the package in question includes all the DLCs and, above all, various graphic improvements.

    cyberpunk 2077

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Warning: take this into consideration ONLY if you have an Xbox One S, One X (or better still Series S or Series X). As things currently stand, it's hard to appreciate on the standard Xbox One. That said, Cyberpunk 2077 will be able to offer you a futuristic world (from cyberpunk notes in fact) that will not cease to amaze you. There are flaws, such as artificial intelligence that does not always live up to expectations and various graphic glitches, but once these obstacles have been overcome you will have an experience in front of you capable of guaranteeing you a hundred hours of gameplay. More updates will arrive in the coming weeks to improve the console experience.

    Minecraft Dungeons

Let's be clear right away: you don't expect the depth or maturity of a Diablo, much less a screaming longevity. However, we are still talking about a game included in the Xbox Game Pass and which, in any case, in the list, costs you € 19,99. Given these necessary premises, Minecraft Dungeons is a fun dungeon crawler to play alone or in company, even locally.

    The Outer Worlds

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Fans of Fallout 3 and 4? Have you enjoyed Fallout: New Vegas more than ever? You are in the right place! The Outer Worlds is the new gem from Obsidian Entertainment that projects us into a completely new sci-fi universe. The game mechanics are very similar to those of Fallout (with a whole series of new features). Multiple endings, teams of adventurers to customize and much, much more.

Complex, layered gameplay, involving more and more as you play it.

    Kingdom Hearts 3

Years and years of waiting, spin-offs, theory of all kinds, expectations and finally we have come to an end. A historical saga that has bewitched millions of players and that continues to bewitch thanks to this third and final chapter. If you've played the previous ones, you don't even need to recommend it.

Divinity Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition

One of the best RPGs ever (yes, we're not afraid to say it) officially lands on consoles as well. Perhaps the controller is not on par with the mouse and keyboard, but it still lets you play which is a pleasure.

    Vampyr

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

An extremely peculiar gaming experience. Being a vampire in 1920's London is not trivial, and any action you take, be it a dialogue or a decision to spare or kill a citizen, will affect the entire neighborhood.

    • Vampyr Review

    Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Slow, difficult, and with technical problems: Kingdom Come is like a huge battleship, it moves slowly but when it opens fire, when it takes you seriously, it is one of those games that will be able to thrill you for tens and tens of hours. An unforgettable adventure set in the middle of the Middle Ages that lets itself be lived thanks to the many nuances of the gameplay.

    Attack on Titan 2

Released on virtually all existing gaming platforms, Attack on Titan 2 is an evolution of the previous chapter, with even more RPG dynamics, lots of action and particularly satisfying gameplay, even if not easy to master.

    South Park: Dial-ups

Blasphemy, racism and sexism are just some of the irreverent themes covered in this videogame transposition of South Park, a huge interactive episode with, among other things, a fun and layered gameplay. If you are passionate about the animated series do not miss it!

    • South Park Review: Di-Straight Clashes

    Hand of Fate 2

Board games are usually "relegated" to mobile platforms or PCs, yet Hand of Fate 2 also defends itself well on consoles. Not only that: in fact it is also an RPG and an action game!

    Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

It is certainly not new, but this re-edition dedicated to consoles of Dragon's Dogma brings to the new generation an extremely deep title, which offers game dynamics halfway between a Dark Souls and an RPG, a long story with many characters and also all the contents additional published later.

    Final Fantasy XV

You will hardly find a game longer than Final Fantasy XV in this 2016. It is absolutely not the classic JRPG, given the fighting based more on the style of Action RPGs and the incredible open world to explore. A really difficult gaming experience to describe in a few words, we recommend you take a look at our review.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

Skyrim is the quintessence of RPGs. Bethesda has recently released a Special Edition that includes all the expansions released in the past years, new graphic effects, textures in high definition and support for official mods even on consoles.

    Best Xbox One Online Games

Below is the list of the best Xbox One games belonging to the Online genre, or to be faced exclusively with a web connection in the company of friends or complete strangers.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War surprises us positively for several factors. Arriving on the market one year after the excellent remake of Modern Warfare, while offering a well-chosen campaign and multiplayer sector, was not at all trivial. However, it remains an exponent of the saga that has a lot in common with its predecessors.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

CoD is back. Everything opens as usual with a wonderful single player campaign not to be underestimated, both for visual and moral impact. It continues with an online mode full of modes and continuously updated maps. We return firmly anchored to the ground, without particular aerial acrobatics or other devilry. But be careful: the rhythms are different from the past, they could surprise even the most experienced players!

Many game modes, various maps (constantly increasing), extreme customization.

    The Division 2

Did you like The Division? Then there's no way you don't like The Division 2 too, a chapter that's improved in almost every respect. A must have for lovers of the genre, especially if you have good friends to deal with it.

    Battlefield V

The right balance between fun and historical accuracy - that's how we described Battlefield V in our review. Multiplayer makes use of a series of innovations designed to amplify and enrich team play, and for such a title it can only be a good thing.

    Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a great exponent of the cooperative video game, which has finally reached a remarkable maturity, the same maturity that was expected from the first episode.

    • Warhammer review: Vermintide 2

    Sea of Thieves

The final grade in our review is less than 8 out of 10, but we couldn't not include it on this list. This is such a peculiar and potentially fun experience that you shouldn't rule it out a priori. And then you can play it with Microsoft's Game Pass: you just need € 9,99 for a month to play it in its entirety.

    Star Wars Battlefront 2

Star Wars Battlefront 2: a mandatory purchase for fans of the saga, both thanks to the campaign that is part of the canonical universe of Star Wars, and thanks to the multiplayer sector, which with its galactic and stellar assaults projects you into incredible space battles worthy some films.

    Destiny 2 + DLC

Science fiction lovers, step forward. If you haven't played the first chapter, don't worry, you'll start from scratch with a brand new story. If you have played the first chapter, you will find new bread for your teeth, with various improvements compared to Destiny, new environments, weapons and so on. And there are quite a few expansions available to play!

    • Destiny 2 review

    For Honor

Hats off to Ubisoft that it has managed to create a new online game with an identity of its own, featuring an original game system that tries to revamp the fighting dynamics by projecting them online. Check out our review!

    Overwatch

Blizzard always hits the mark, by now you should have figured it out. His first Online FPS? Don't worry, Overwatch is a drug from which you will hardly be able to detox. Fun, fast, intuitive and colorful, Overwatch will have fun and engage you thanks also to the competitive mode.

    Best Xbox One Adventure Games

Below is the list of the best Xbox One games belonging to the point and click adventure genre and other variations on the theme.

    It Takes Two

It Takes Two is an exceptional cooperative video game, one to be jealously guarded on the shelf and in the heart. Maniacally curated and constantly amazed, Hazelight Studios' latest effort is an explosion of creativity, a hymn to love and to the videogame made with love. Unmissable.

    Little Nightmares 2

Tarsier Studios are back with a second installment of Little Nightmares! If you've played the first one you probably won't have missed it. Otherwise, know that it is a story unrelated to the events of the first. The new "hero" is called Mono and is a boy who wakes up lost in a forest: he has a paper bag on his head and is attracted to television screens.

    Tell Me Why

Who would have thought that Dontnod would break away from Life Is Strange to produce a whole new adventure with Xbox support? We are sincerely happy about it, also because new stories mean new challenges, and new challenges really mean seeing the versatility of the talent of a development company.

    Blacksad: Under the Skin

Noir is a complex genre, difficult to deal with in a video game, but in our opinion this Blacksad: Under the Skin does it great. A game recommended for those who want to enjoy a nice old-school graphic adventure and are not afraid of some strong scenes: trust the black cat, he will not disappoint you.

    • Blacksad Review: Under the Skin

Compelling and original, it is a game to be replayed many times, each time with new suggestions.

    Trine 4

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

This fourth chapter sounds almost like a return to the origins: we return to a two-dimensional approach that, with all the limitations of the two dimensions, still catapults us into a fairytale adventure filled with puzzles and characterized by a unique aesthetic sense. The formula, “old” as it may be, still works great.

    A Plague Tale: Innocence

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

An unexpected videogame pearl. The game mechanics are perhaps not that complex, but the plot and how it is told deserves a lot.

    Life is Strange 2

Life is Strange returns with a second chapter. New protagonists, new settings, the same “feels”. Intimate, empathic and introspective, Life is Strange 2 delicately narrates the essence of the fraternal bond and constellates the story of human themes which, although sometimes hasty, prove to be capable of giving various food for thought.

    Remothered: Tormented Fathers

Developed in hot Sicily, after a successful first debut on PC, Remothered: Tormented Fathers also makes its debut on consoles. A "horror hide and seek" not to be missed if you are particularly passionate about the genre.

    Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Scenographic fights, perspective-based puzzles, an intelligent use of the sound sector, an impressive graphic sector: Hellblade is an original and karst adventure not to be missed.

    Okami HD

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

We tend to turn up our noses in front of remastered, but at the time Okami didn't get the right attention. Today you can replay it in high definition enjoying a Zelda-style adventure with original art-based mechanics.

    Get Even

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

It is not really an action game since the plot is the great protagonist of this indie production published by none other than Bandai Namco. We've hardly been so caught up in a video game lately. We strongly advise you to read the review.

Best Xbox One Platform and Casual Games

Below is a list of the best titles dedicated to Sony's console belonging to the Platform genre, including more casual titles suitable for a wide audience.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a solid platformer, as well as a good sequel and good relaunch of the marsupial. Toys for Bob has done a great celebratory job, but it doesn't seem to have figured out the challenge level at its best, with some issues that make it more artificial and frustrating than it should be. Despite the above, it's a miracle to have a chapter of Crash in this dazzling form on your fingertips.

Ori and the Will of the Wisp

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Whatever amount is destined for the artists of Moon Studios, it will never be enough in relation to the wonderful art painted by their hands. Not that the rest of the work on their latest effort is less valuable, quite the opposite. At the cost of playing melodramatic, every moment spent in Ori and the Will of the Wisps literally brings goosebumps. Every single damn moment.

A game that borders on perfection from a technical point of view, with a perfect rhythm. Unmissable.

    Lethal League Blaze

Imagine a ball sport and then match it with the fighting game: you will get nothing but Lethal League Blaze, the game that is monopolizing our summer 2019.

    Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Did you think you were Crash's # 1 fan? You are very wrong. The truth tells us that Vicarious Visions is the one, because their restoration operation reveals such dedication, passion and maniacality that are difficult to match.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom

The most successful aspect of the production emerges from its approach as faithful to the past as it is current. It is genuine, it is packaged with care, and every piece is in the right place that you can hardly believe it. Apart from a few small grits, it is simply a title to have for all lovers of the genre.

    Spyro: Reignited Trilogy

Thanks Activision and thanks Toys For Bob for this little gem! Spyro returns in style to the consoles of the current generation with a port that is nothing short of wonderful. Highly recommended!

    Super Bomberman R

End the exclusive Nintendo Switch for the party game par excellence. Bomberman, in its recent incarnation, also lands on Xbox with renewed graphics, short story mode and many characters.

    Voodoo Vince Remastered

A restoration operation that also allows those who have never come close to the title to replay it on the new generation Xboxes. It is a hilarious platformer, with various gameplay gimmicks that will amuse you.

    Best Xbox One Toys-to-Life Games

Below is the list of the best Xbox One games belonging to the Toys-to-Life genre, here titles that require physical interaction from the player, such as Activision's famous Skylanders series.

    Starlink - Battle for Atlas

In this 2018 we certainly did not expect to be able to repopulate this section. Ubisoft has launched a new toys-to-life, the first of the French company, with a really not bad sci-fi game setting.

    Skylanders Imaginators

Hey, that's Crash Bandicoot. Yes, the famous character returns to the limelight thanks to Activision and above all thanks to the new Skylanders Imaginators, one of the funniest of the famous videogame saga. This year there are lots of news to discover, and as usual we would like to reiterate that the target is not just aimed at the little ones!

    Lego dimensions

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

In Spain he lands almost a year late, but he has not suffered the blow at all. LEGO Dimensions is probably the best LEGO video game you can currently buy on Console, including Xbox One. A story that intertwines many worlds, construction sessions, minifigures to collect: beware, it could become a real drug!

    Best Xbox One Strategy Games

Below is the list of the best Xbox One games belonging to the strategy genre, not very widespread on Consoles for obvious reasons.

    Jurassic World Evolution

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

One of the few strategic (in addition to those of the Halo Wars series) dedicated to Xbox allows us to build and manage our Jurassic Park. Graphically beautiful, it lacks some mechanics that are a bit overly simplified.

    XCOM 2

Strategic players aren't very popular on consoles: real-time ones are practically impossible to play with the controller, but the same can't be said of turn-based ones. Firaxis Games and 2K Games have produced a truly incredible port of XCOM 2 for Console. Excellent interface, good graphics, all DLCs: in short, an unmissable title.

A game that won't make you miss the mouse and keyboard.

    Best Xbox One Fighting Games

The list of fighting games dedicated to Xbox One is not particularly rich, but fortunately in recent months something has come out that could particularly intrigue fans of the genre.

    Mortal kombat 11 + aftermath

Cafone, tamarro, very violent: some of the adjectives that fit perfectly when it comes to the new Mortal Kombat. But on the other hand, it is the series itself that boasts these characteristics, and the eleventh chapter is no exception. With a story mode that features many old characters and some new gameplay changes, Mortal Kombat 11 is practically a must have. At the end of May 2020, the Aftermath expansion was also released with a new story mode.

    Soulcalibur VI

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

The return of a great classic: revisited roster, renewed graphics sector in step with the times and an extraordinary combat system also revisited and expanded for the occasion.

    Dragon Ball FighterZ

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

Don't be frightened by the 2D graphics: in reality, on a graphic level, it is one of the most faithful Dragon Ball games ever made. As for the mechanics, however, it differs a lot from the other titles dedicated to the series, it is closer to a classic fighting game in the style of Tekken / Street Fighter.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy / Trilogy

A restored collection that brings together all the chapters of the Ultimate Ninja series. A must for fans and also an excellent starting point for players looking for a quality Naruto fighting game. For prices refer to the review: there are in fact two versions, one physical and one digital, which also differ in content.

    Tekken 7

Xbox One Games - The Best of June 2021

The King is back! The king of fighting games is back to be loud, even on Xbox One! There are novelties (welcome) in terms of gameplay, the continuation of the story and many other game contents. If you love fighting games, you will hardly miss it.

    Injustice 2

NetherRealm Studios launches the second installment of the Injustice fighting game series set in the DC Comics universe, and hits the mark again. Lots of characters, a story that blends perfectly with the beat-up sessions and lots of other game content. In short, a must buy!

How do we choose the games?

The games, as already mentioned, are selected from those reviewed by us. Only in this way can we be sure that they are deserving titles. All the video games featured here received a final rating greater than or equal to 8 out of 10. What are the parameters we evaluate during our reviews? Here are a few listed below.

    • Screen: the plot is an essential point of many genres. Obviously, in a racing game or in a sports game (with rare exceptions) something else is evaluated, but in adventures and action games it is a very important feature.
    • Longevity: video games often require substantial investments, especially on day-one. It is therefore obvious to also evaluate the overall duration of the gaming experience.
    • Graphics: never judge a book by its cover alone, yet the graphics sector of a game remains one of the fundamental characteristics. Even a peculiar and different graphic style can prove to be successful, as long as it manages to impress the player.
    • gameplay: is perhaps the most important point. There are games with weak textures and poor graphics that are extremely fun. An essential parameter to be evaluated and investigated.
    • Price: as mentioned, there are some particularly expensive games that do not offer a fair quality / price ratio. It is therefore good to evaluate this parameter as well.

    Xbox One upcoming games

The videogame market moves more and more money, and gamers, more and more voracious for news, are always on the hunt for new titles to cleanse well. And in fact they arrive practically every week new games on Xbox One. There are usually busier months, but in essence, publishers try to take advantage of the whole year to launch their news. That is why there is a need to keep track of all who are games coming out on Xbox One, and on all other platforms.

To find out what games are coming to Xbox One in the coming months, you just have to follow our gaming section on Epictrick. However, consider that with the arrival of Xbox Series X the games actually coming to Xbox One are slowly dwindling. However, there will be a transition period in which the main titles will be released for both platforms, also thanks to the backward compatibility of Xbox Series X. Before the arrival of the new console there will still be major launches.
