The world of video games is increasingly active and every month a large number of titles dedicated to the various platforms currently available (Windows PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S) come out. However, it is not always easy to understand which titles are right for us, especially without having tried them, and that is why we have decided to collect a selection of best Xbox One games currently available in physical and virtual stores, such as Amazon, to make your life easier and to avoid wasting your savings.
Given the large number of titles currently available, ours list to the best video games for xbox one was drawn up by selecting mostly games we reviewed on Epictrick that managed to obtain a positive evaluation that exceeds a certain threshold. In the updated list (June 2021) find a quick overview of the various video games, images of our reviews and the main online shops (Amazon, Microsoft Store). Each game is grouped under a genre of membership. However, fear not, the presence of Xbox Series X | S on the market does not sanction the end of games dedicated to Xbox One. The previous generation of consoles will still be supported for a long time.

It is true that the attention to detail in creating a world that is as faithful as possible to the historical period in which Valhalla is set is nothing short of incredible. The music and glimpses of Norway and England will thrill even the most shy of players.

Mafia Definitive Edition
Mafia Definitive Edition is a great remake, with a "unique" major flaw. Historical fans of the first chapter will not find the original music, the voice acting itself and will notice some small changes in the story. If you can overlook these details, the road is literally downhill. The combat system has been revisited and the graphics engine is nothing short of splendid.

Marvel's Avengers
Lovers of action games and Marvel superheroes will hardly be able to stay away from him. And all in all the campaign and game structure is also quite successful. Longevity on the other hand is not that high, but there are several extra activities to carry out even at the end of the story. Graphically, in certain situations, it is really at the top.

Resident Evil 3
Unfortunately, it is not up to the remake of 2, not so much from a graphical gameplay point of view. Indeed, to be honest, the graphic aspect is one of the most successful things! DOOM Eternal is the new benchmark for FPS. id Software and Bethesda have succeeded in the enterprise of churning out an unrivaled sequel, which expands the gameplay and which greatly enriches the story and all the lore that gravitates around the DOOM universe. A shooter with a soul and its own why, which continues from where we left off in 2016 giving more and more a sense of continuity to the whole.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
An interesting mix of genres, more Action RPG than real fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot amazes in part for the graphics sector (more than anything else of the characters), in part for the choreographic and pyrotechnic fights. It faithfully follows (even if with some carelessness) the Z saga making us relive all its key moments, therefore perfect for true fans of the Akira Toriyama saga.

Gears 5
Gears 5 continues the work of The Coalition started with the fourth chapter, packaging an excellent campaign that tries to dare. If you had paid a bit more attention in the development of the plot and in the construction of the open scenarios, now we would probably be talking about the best chapter ever. Without a shadow of a doubt, however, it is one of the best that history has embraced.

Borderlands 3
An action RPG to say the least adorable, even if rather "violent" and vulgar. But the saga has always been like this, and this third chapter does nothing but re-propose the usual formula with lots of improvements and lots of content to play. If you are a lover of the genre and do not mind the first person view it is an almost obligatory purchase. The context is science fiction and even if you have not played the previous chapters you will still be able to get into the part.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne
It may sound trivial to say "The best Monster Hunter ever" but it is a statement that is very close to the reality of the facts. Perfect for fans of the series and also for those approaching the series for the first time. In 2019 Iceborne has arrived, a huge expansion for Monster Hunter World that adds an avalanche of in-game content. Among other things, you will find a package including the original game and the expansion.

Remnant: From the Ashes
Remnant: From the Ashes makes no secret of its influences and puts on the plate an unprecedented vision of the recipe designed by From Software, where three juicy ingredients coexist: the third-person shooter, the growth of the character and the cooperative up to three players.

Control
The new Remedy effort is known, as usual, to stand out from the crowd. An original action game, projected in a setting that is anything but typical, with mechanics that continually try to change the cards on the table. It is not without defects but it knows how to amuse and entertain.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
After 12 years of absence, the Ace Combat series returns to Xbox with a new chapter that introduces many innovations in terms of weather management. Piloting becomes increasingly difficult and rewarding, and there are also two multiplayer modes to compete online!

Shadow of the Tomb Raider
If you have an Xbox One X it is one of those titles not to be missed. The new Microsoft exclusive curated by Undead Labs takes us to the desolate wastes of a post-apocalyptic land. If you have played the first chapter and enjoyed it, do not miss it in any way. And if you are looking for a survival sandbox that puts you to the test, the same goes for it.

Dark Souls Remastered

The Evil Within 2
From the software house founded by the creator of Resident Evil comes a very enjoyable survival horror with open world, stealth and RPG elements, characterized by an excellent plot, a more than discreet longevity and a graphic sector that has its own to say even on consoles.

Dead Rising 4

Resident Evil 7 biohazard + DLC
Resident Evil 7 biohazard will be remembered as a resurgence point for the series. Anxious, disturbing, oppressive and above all, frightening: a game not to be underestimated, to be played preferably with the lights off and alone. If you want to give yourself a shot, that is.

DOOM
DOOM returns after three successful chapters, but this is not a sequel, but a reboot, a fantastic new beginning. We have never seen gods such detailed and wonderful circuits in a rally video game, nor in many Corsican exponents. The DiRT 5 tracks are set in 9 different countries, from Italy to China, up to the frozen tracks of Norway. The landscapes are splendid, very clean in reading and fun to face with different vehicles.

AO International Tennis
After a first timid attempt in 2018, the AO tennis series returns with a second chapter that improves upon various weaknesses of its predecessor. There is still work to be done from an aesthetic point of view but there are still several steps forward, and there are not many alternatives if you are looking for something related to tennis on Xbox!

NBA 2K20
The big face of Anthony Davis, who dominates the cover of NBA 2K20 threateningly, leaves no room for doubt: this is a tough game, designed to exalt American basketball and everything that goes around it to the nth degree. The new 2K Games production offers the player a very rich menu, which risks becoming almost indigestible if you try to taste each course, but can offer - once again - an extremely complete experience.

FIFA 21
For the past few years EA has focused on game modes and the graphics engine. This year there are not so many important innovations: the classic filings here and there that do not overturn the essence of the game. If you are looking for something new, however, you can console yourself with the fun Volta mode.

This year Konami breaks a tradition that has been going on for some time. PES 2021 is a so-called Season Update of the 2020 chapter. We therefore find the same graphic engine, some slight gameplay news and obviously all the updated teams, squads and leagues. The price is much lower, especially if you own a copy of PES 2020.

Best Xbox One RPG Games

Mass Effect Legendary Edition
For the first time ever, the original trilogy of the BioWare RPG saga arrives in a single package on Xbox. Sure, maybe you could have recovered them via backward compatibility, but the package in question includes all the DLCs and, above all, various graphic improvements.
cyberpunk 2077
Warning: take this into consideration ONLY if you have an Xbox One S, One X (or better still Series S or Series X). As things currently stand, it's hard to appreciate on the standard Xbox One. That said, Cyberpunk 2077 will be able to offer you a futuristic world (from cyberpunk notes in fact) that will not cease to amaze you. There are flaws, such as artificial intelligence that does not always live up to expectations and various graphic glitches, but once these obstacles have been overcome you will have an experience in front of you capable of guaranteeing you a hundred hours of gameplay. More updates will arrive in the coming weeks to improve the console experience.
Minecraft Dungeons
Let's be clear right away: you don't expect the depth or maturity of a Diablo, much less a screaming longevity. However, we are still talking about a game included in the Xbox Game Pass and which, in any case, in the list, costs you € 19,99. Given these necessary premises, Minecraft Dungeons is a fun dungeon crawler to play alone or in company, even locally.

The Outer Worlds
Fans of Fallout 3 and 4? Have you enjoyed Fallout: New Vegas more than ever? You are in the right place! Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Slow, difficult, and with technical problems: Kingdom Come is like a huge battleship, it moves slowly but when it opens fire, when it takes you seriously, it is one of those games that will be able to thrill you for tens and tens of hours. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War surprises us positively for several factors. Arriving on the market one year after the excellent remake of Modern Warfare, while offering a well-chosen campaign and multiplayer sector, was not at all trivial. However, it remains an exponent of the saga that has a lot in common with its predecessors.

CoD is back. Everything opens as usual with a wonderful single player campaign not to be underestimated, both for visual and moral impact. It continues with an online mode full of modes and continuously updated maps. We return firmly anchored to the ground, without particular aerial acrobatics or other devilry. But be careful: the rhythms are different from the past, they could surprise even the most experienced players!

How do we choose the games?
The games, as already mentioned, are selected from those reviewed by us. Only in this way can we be sure that they are deserving titles. All the video games featured here received a final rating greater than or equal to 8 out of 10. What are the parameters we evaluate during our reviews? Here are a few listed below.
- Screen: the plot is an essential point of many genres. Obviously, in a racing game or in a sports game (with rare exceptions) something else is evaluated, but in adventures and action games it is a very important feature.
- Longevity: video games often require substantial investments, especially on day-one. It is therefore obvious to also evaluate the overall duration of the gaming experience.
- Graphics: never judge a book by its cover alone, yet the graphics sector of a game remains one of the fundamental characteristics. Even a peculiar and different graphic style can prove to be successful, as long as it manages to impress the player.
- gameplay: is perhaps the most important point. There are games with weak textures and poor graphics that are extremely fun. An essential parameter to be evaluated and investigated.
- Price: as mentioned, there are some particularly expensive games that do not offer a fair quality / price ratio. It is therefore good to evaluate this parameter as well.

The videogame market moves more and more money, and gamers, more and more voracious for news, are always on the hunt for new titles to cleanse well. And in fact they arrive practically every week new games on Xbox One. There are usually busier months, but in essence, publishers try to take advantage of the whole year to launch their news. That is why there is a need to keep track of all who are games coming out on Xbox One, and on all other platforms.
